Reviews
The title is a bit misleading - these aren't really self-guided, more so private tours. For our booking we got a car and a guide who pointed us where to go as my wife drove us around.
Note, the cars are old and a bit small - this means that you should ideally be comfortable driving manual, and not someone who describes yourself as "tall". I'm about 6'6" (1.98m) and I couldn't fit behind the steering wheel.
If you can't fit or don't want to drive, I'm sure your guide would be willing to do so for your tour, but it's definitely fun to be able to drive as part of the experience.
We had a lovely, funny and a very engaging guide with us in the car. His name is Conrad/Konrad and he was very pleasant, and knew his way around the city - - and quite a history buff! He had some great jokes too! ;)
We finished the tour with a shot of polish vodka (or was it vodka made in Poland) and smiles on our faces. We absolutely recommend both the tour and our guide!
