What To Expect
Old Town
During the Invasion of Poland (1939) and after the Warsaw Uprising (August–October 1944) it was systematically blown up by the German Army. A statue commemorating the Uprising, "the Little Insurgent," now stands on the Old Town's medieval city wall.

The Royal Castle in Warsaw (Polish: Zamek Królewski w Warszawie) is a castle residency that formerly served throughout the centuries as the official residence of the Polish monarchs. Palace of Culture and Science
