Overview
Experience nature at its best and stand face to face with the king of the forest, the bison! Bialowieza National Park is the oldest national park in Poland, one of the oldest in Europe and a natural UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tour begins with a 7am pickup from your hotel in Warsaw and you will be driven to Bialowieza National Park by car/minibus, about a 4 hour drive. One there, you will be able to explore this park and see the European Bison Show Reserve, Park Palace, which is a beautiful garden, Orthodox Parish of St. Nicholas and more! The tour concludes with a drive back to your hotel in Warsaw.

AB Poland was quite proactive in engaging with me regularly prior the trip and prompt to provide feedback whenever required.
During the trip, the driver was very knowlegeable about things to see, where to stop, and the background / history of each sites.
We had also two guided tours (with the same guide from the national park) in the Bialowiesa Forest and in a early morning tour to observe Bisons. The guide was really really good. Extremely passionate about his work and to share info about the plant and animals. Thanks to his knowledge, we managed to spot roughly 60 bisons in total.
Finally the accomodation and restaurants picked by AB Poland were really great.

El trayecto fue muy agradable y la visita al bosque con Mateusz, el guía del parque nacional, muy interesante y amena, con explicaciones sobre la flora, la fauna y la conservación. La reserva estricta de Bialowieza estaba cerrada al público por la crisis fronteriza con Bielorrusia, pero visitamos las zonas boscosas contiguas a dicha reserva.
Durante la visita vimos ciervos, un zorro y multitud de pájaros. Después, Mateusz me enseñó los diferentes animales que atienden en semilibertad en la reserva.
Tras esa visita, fuimos a comer a un restaurante de comida tradicional polaca, y volviendo hacia el hotel paramos para visitar un santuario ortodoxo.
Una jornada muy completa, siempre acompañado por Magda y Karol, ambos muy simpáticos y amenos.
