Overview

Experience the beauty of the Old Town and Royal Route. Learn about the history of the sites, about Warsaw`s turbulent past and one of the most outstanding reconstruction projects in the world history.

Walk along cobbled narrow streets of the Old Town, and learn which parts of buildings are original, and which are reconstructed. Learn about the most important moments in Polish history. Then walk down the famous Royal Route, the most representative artery of the city. Here you will find many important buildings from historical standpoint and outstanding examples of Warsaw architecture. Discover the most breathtaking highlights as well as little-known hidden gems.

After this tour you'll understand why it was decided to reconstruct this area after WWII, how difficult it was in the post-war reality, and why UNESCO made such an exception to award the area that was almost entirely rebuilt.

My Poland Trip
Acsy2022, 04-08-2022
Poland is always a country I would like to explore. Before I went to Poland, I was under the impression that Poland has a rather deep and heavy history, due to the Nazi period with the concentration camp and holocaust...

This time I am very thankful to have Lukasz as our tour guide to show me the prosperous period of Poland in the late 17th and 18th century. With his detailed illustrations about the old town,  it gave me an excellent picture of how people living in the past. And one thing I like the most, is the architecture, the Royal Castle is excellent, with its glamorous Royal design and elegant setting, you would experience how prosperous Poland once was. Warsaw old town was classified as the UNESCO World heritage site, and it is a must see destination for anyone visiting Warsaw!!

I am deeply impressed by Lukasz for helping me to understand Poland more, especially how prosperous once was and how it strive after the Second World War. I am really touched by how Polish people fight for their own right during Warsaw Uprising. And no doubt, I would strongly recommend you to choose Lukasz as your tour guide if you visit Warsaw :)

Amazing experience, very relaxing and informatvie. Lukas showed us the most important historical places as well as some courtyards and interiors that we would never find by ourselves. Old Town in winter is amazing! Highly recommended!

Lukasz has such a passion for his city, and it shows! If you want a wonderful, personable tour guide, Lucasz is your guy. I asked him all kinds of off-beat questions, and he willingly answered all of them. Warsaw is an interesting city with a fascinating, tragic history. Lukasz does a fantastic job of giving you the general overview, but also pointing out secret places and small things you wouldn't have noticed or understood.
Worth every penny and then some! Love from Elisa and Tony, Copenhagen
Perfect guided tour
