The Lowicz's culture museum is much better than it sounds. In fact a delightful collection of wooden countryside artisan houses, from the 19th century which you can enter and see the contents of another time. Charming wooden Church and windmill too.
Nieborov 17th palace is delightful, and one of the few survivors of it's type from that era. A small jewel in equally beautiful grounds.
And Martin our guide was comfortably informal and made us feel most welcome. He imparted his knowledge in a fun and informative way and was relaxing to be with.
