Overview

Visit the major landmarks of the city on a 2,5-hour retro bus tour. A live guide on board comments on the sights you pass and tells you more on a walk in the Old Town, Royal Park Łazienki or in the Palace of Culture and Science. You travel by a retro bus called Jelcz "Cucumber" - an iconic communist vehicle. This tour operates every Saturday at 3pm, starting from the Palace of Culture and Science.

This was an excellent tour, we learned a huge amount from our guide Camilla, including a personal history which really brought the stories to life. We had visited the Life Under Communism museum just before this trip so we had some great background knowledge which was then enhanced by the tour. The fact that the retro bus broke down at the end of the tour and it had to be pushed just added to the fun! Warsaw is a great city and this tour really helps to understand its history. Highly recommended.
